About Stacey Giano

About Me

Stacey Giano was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1995, where the hum of guitars, church choirs, and Southern traditions shaped her earliest memories. After graduating from an all-girls academy, she and her parents relocated to Montana, where the family operates a small business together. While Montana gave her a new chapter, Stacey’s heart and artistic roots remain firmly tied to Nashville, the city that nurtured her love of music and storytelling.

An only child, Stacey learned early on how to keep herself entertained — and others, too. She has a naturally playful, humorous personality, always quick with a joke or a lighthearted story, and that same spark shines through in her music. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, she plays the piano, guitar, and banjo, and pairs those skills with her heartfelt gift for singing and songwriting. Her Mexican and Italian heritage ties her to a wide family network across the deep South, giving her artistry a cultural richness that blends seamlessly with her Nashville-bred country sound.

Stacey shares her life with her husband, Ikonn Giano, whose love and support inspire much of her work. Together, they balance family, creativity, and the joys of everyday life — building not only a partnership in love but a shared vision for community and tradition.

Beyond the stage, Stacey is just as much of an artist in the kitchen. Known for her home-baked desserts — especially bundt cakes, pies, and cobblers — she has a way of turning family gatherings into feasts. Her Southern comfort food is the kind of cooking that wraps people in warmth, and her grits are legendary — slow-cooked, creamy, and seasoned with the kind of love only someone raised in Nashville can bring to the table. She often jokes that if she hadn’t picked up a guitar, she’d be making a living off her skillet and mixing bowls. Drawing from her Mexican and Italian heritage, her table blends traditions: fried chicken and cornbread one night, homemade pasta the next, with tamales making an appearance whenever she’s feeling nostalgic.

For Stacey, both music and cooking come from the same place — a deep desire to connect, comfort, and share joy. Whether she’s singing under stage lights or serving up a steaming bowl of grits with a wink and a laugh, she carries forward a legacy of love, authenticity, and cultural pride.
